- WHAT A BLESSED DAY WE HAD -

no one reading this blog [except my parents, probably] will even know this man, but he's my uncle noah [my dad's brother] - he's been a rough ole cuss all his life & didn't care who heard the 4 letter words fly out of his mouth, didn't care what nasty jokes rolled off his tongue [nor who was around to hear them] & wasn't one to give a compliment or let anyone get 'too close'
`
don't get me wrong, he's always been very nice, but was more of the 'macho type' that couldn't show his feelings for fear that someone might see him as a weak, gushy, etc. [you know the type!]
`
he was raised in a christian home along with my dad & their 3 sisters, but it's now down to just he & my dad now as the rest of the family's already passed on - he's never had much to do with anything that pertained to god, as that just 'wasn't for him'
`
he's had health issues for awhile now, but even that wasn't enough to get him 'turned in the right direction' as he'd never use a bad drs. report as a 'crutch' to get into heaven...it just wasn't 'his way'
`
a few months ago while in the hospital, his wife's pastor came to visit him - while there, they were praying before the pastor left & noah hold on to your seat...gave his life to the lord!! - he's been a totally different [& I MEAN TOTALLY DIFFERENT] man since then
`
today, many in our family went to the church where his wife goes [& now he does too!] - he was going to be baptized & was soooooo excited for all of us to be there [he just beamed!] - before the baptizing began, the pastor ran a brief video of uncle noah in an interview they'd had together about what had happened in his life
`
he started off by saying, "well, you've heard the phrase 'bout people being 'hell on wheels'? - well, i was so bad i done blew even the wheels clean off!" - he then shared via video about something the lord showed him - he believes [& i do too] that he saw hell with his own eyes - he was in the hospital & in grave condition & he saw himself in a gray room with little creeping black figures that were racing all around the room - he said he saw them darting in/out & the more he saw the worse he felt - he truly believes that god was showing him what he was facing [hell] & was giving him one final choice of where he was wanting to spend eternity - he made his decision that day & is so in love with the lord, it's remarkable...only god
`
today was a very blessed day as we were able to spend it with a man that was headed to hell in a hurry & didn't care as he thought 'he could handle it' [remember, he was the 'macho type'], but finally saw that he couldn't & made the 'right choice' - i'm so proud of him & can't wait to hear about all the people that will be ministered to, just by seeing the witness in his life
  • can you handle it?
  • are you ready to make the 'right choice'?

- HOW PRETTY IS THIS!! -

madisyn had her hair done today & so mom took pics - isn't she pretty!! - i just love how her hair looks! - she's such a sweet young girl & has adjusted so well - i'm so proud of her!!

- WEEK 30 -

until now, the surface of ahniér's brain was smooth - now that little brain's taking on those characteristic grooves & indentations, which allow for an increased amount of brain tissue as she prepares for life outside the womb & the street smarts she'll need
`
another big change this week's ahniér's bone marrow's taken over production of red blood cells [before, tissue groups & then the spleen took care of producing the blood cells] - this' an important step for your baby, because it means she's better able to thrive on her own once born [with a little TLC, of course] - so it's in with the new [brain cells, red blood cells] & out with the old [lanugo] - much of the lanugo — the soft, downy hair covering ahniér's body — is beginning to disappear now because both fat & the brain are regulating her body's temperature [so no need for that furry coat anymore] - but you may see a few leftover strands of fur on your newborn's back & shoulders
`
ahniér's permanent teeth have developed & are "waiting" in her gums, underneath the baby teeth - ahniér's very aware of the surroundings & her eyelids will open & close - she'll even look around & turn toward light - we tend to think of the uterus as a dark place, but the uterus actually can be light & dark depending on your environment
ahniér rivals a good-size cabbage in weight, tipping the scales this week at over 3 pounds - she weighs about 3# 12oz now [or more] & is approximately 16" long - your little porker's getting even cuter with increasingly pudgy arms & legs this week thanks to the ever-growing layers of subcutaneous fat - you may be able to distinguish sleep & wake cycles ahniér as well - although it usually seems as if the baby wants to sleep while mama's awake & vice versa at night - this' not indicative of a sleepless newborn - mama's voice's not only heard by your baby, but is also recognized - also, ahniér has a grip so strong she's capable of gripping onto your finger - at this point, ahniér may be practicing nursing as she sucks her thumb - she has lungs that are capable of breathing air, although medical help may be needed if she were to be born now & 9 out of 10 babies born now will survive - the light's visible at the end of the tunnel! - mama's oversized self & amazing ahniér have finally reached the single digits (in terms of weeks till birth)!

- IT'S ALL ABOUT CHANGE -

yep, we're changing around here in so many ways, it's unbelievable - like most of you know, we just moved into a rental home & will be here for about 3-4 months [note: different phone number, different address] - then we'll be moving again sometime in october to our final home [note: different address, but hopefully the same phone number] - if there's any of you that would like our new address' & phone numbers, please email me at ChatterboxLS@aol.com & i'll get it to you - i've already sent out lots of emails on this, but don't want to miss anyone as my computer did delete some of my 'auto added' email address' [grrr]

- VERY PRODUCTIVE MORNING -

this morning spike & i went & signed all the paperwork for ryland homes to get started on our new home [PRAISE THE LORD!] - they should begin by breaking ground within the next 1-2 weeks - we're right now looking at a 95-100 day turn around from the time of ground breaking, until the date we can close, so we're thinking it'll be sometime mid october [before bad weather...yeah!!]

- A GOOD DAY -

well, got up this morning for a meeting to sign papers on the house, but the guy we were meeting had tomorrow [tuesday] @ 10am, instead of today [monday] at 10am, so the meeting never materialized - we got home, had lunch, let the girls play, then mom & madisyn came over for a visit, then i put the girls down for a nap [me too!] & when we all got up, we went outside for a few hours to ride bikes & they'd a blast!! - i was too lazy to go get the camera, but will try & do that tomorrow - all in all it was a good day had by all - dustin came by this evening for a bit & played around with the girls & fed them boatloads of marshmallows [which they loved!] - i'm heading to bed now as we've got a meeting to sign papers on the house tomorrow morning at 10am [hehe] & after that, i've no idea what we'll be doing, so check back tomorrow to see what we did!!

- WE ARE OFFICALLY... -

renters!! - we're not 'settled in' quite yet, but it's getting there - i've already finished, both bedrooms, kitchen & bathrooms - we're mainly working now on spike's office & closets
`
we had movers pick all our things up on friday morning, drive it here to the rental house, our 'new' home, unload what all we needed here, which was a HUGE job as now we've a stairway going upstairs & it's not an ordinary stairway - this' a little old house that did NOT have an upstairs & recently one was added - you go up 3 small steps, then make a hard turn & go the rest of the way...making it a tight squeeze for taking up large items such as a king sized boxpring/mattress, large chest of drawers, 2 small chest of drawers, a short/wiiiiiiiiide chest of drawers, 1 full sized boxspring/mattress & a ton of smaller things - they then drove all the rest of our belongings to our storage shed that we'd rented some months back when we were in the 'starting to pack' stage & lastly the next stop was to my parents house to drop off a swing that we didn't need/couldn't use any longer, that they wanted - it was at this time that the real 'move' took place as we'd to find 'homes' for everything we'd brought with us [can we all say UGH, really loud??]
`
this house will work out very nicely for us & we're grateful to be here for the short time we're needing it - we didn't have to sign anything at all/contract as the guy, boy that we're renting it from [i say that because he's very young] has never done anything like this before - this' the first house he's purchased to fix up & rent out - he's never been a landlord or had renters before so we're the 'trial family' [what a family to use as a trial family as we've got: 2 adults, 1 teen, 3 toddlers, a newborn [soon] & 2 indoor cats!!]...matt, that poor, poor landlord
`
we've a kitchen, entryway/my computer corner, spike's office, laundry room, 2 bedroooms & living room - everythings smaller in size, but it's all there! - we've a cute little backyard with a porch we can sit/swing on & also a small front porch where we can sit & watch traffic [if anyone would ever come down the road]
`
we'll be here until sometime in october & then we'll be making our final move to the 'big house' [the kids words] - when we get there, we'll have all the room we need/ever want & are very excited about the thought of that - so, until, we'll be residing right here, all snug as bugs in a rug

- WEEK 29 -

ahniér's almost 17" long now, nearly as long as she'll be at birth, but her 2-3# weight [that she is right now] will likely more than double & may even come close to tripling by delivery time - her wrinkled skin's smoothing out as more fat's deposited under the skin surface - this fat, called white fat, is different from the earlier brown fat that she accumulated - brown fat's necessary for body temperature regulation, while white fat actually serves as an energy source - she now weighs as much as a butternut squash
`
mama's been feeling butterflies moving around in her belly, it’s not just her run-of-the-mill pre-birth performance anxiety - no, it’s ahniér, the amazing baby with a case of the hiccups: a fairly common occurrence at this point resulting from practicing breathing for her big birthday
`
space in ahniér's living quarters is now at a premium, so mama will be feeling jabs & pokes from elbows & knees mostly, but those kicks will be more vigorous than before [& also less erratic] because ahniér's stronger & excitedly responding to all sorts of stimuli [movement, sounds, light & that candy bar mama ate half an hour ago] - luckily, she doesn't have teeth yet that would need a brushing after that sugary treat, but it won't be long before she'll be getting that first baby toothbrush!
`
back to those kicks, who's counting...actually, mama should be - now's a good time to start doing a kick count twice a day to make sure ahniér's doing just fine [plus, it's a good excuse for a rest] - lie down [preferably after a snack] & keep track of her movements - mama's looking for at least 10 movements in an hour's time [don't forget to count movements of any kind — kicks, flutters, swishes, rolls & so on] - ahniér's sensory organs are well developed & she can now open her eyes & will turn her head towards the source of any light - she's now beginning to regulate her own temperature & her bone marrow's completely in charge of production of the red blood cells now
`
this little monkey's also been peeing into her amniotic sac for a little while now [this' why potty training takes a while] & if you didn’t know, actually swallows it along with the rest of the amniotic fluid - although the concept's nasty, her urine's sterile and as part of the amniotic fluid base, is replaced several times throughout the day - so if you didn’t know before, now you can tell people, that yes, you drank your own urine—you were still in the womb, but nonetheless, you’ve been there
`
in addition, to getting a round of butterfly-like hiccups, ahniér's [aka the little swimmer], has arduously managed to accumulate enough baby fat to account for nearly 3.5% of her overall body weight - yeah, compared to us adults, it’s not a lot, but when they’re little like that—it’s certainly a healthy [& warming] accomplishment in its way - last but not least, her spleen's now in charge of hematopoiesis...the process involved in building up certain important blood components

- BUSY, FUN, BUSY DAY -

we got up this morning & left by 11am - we first went to lunch since we'd gotten up late & no one had time to eat breakfast - after lunch we loaded up & drove to the local mall as i was wanting to get another hole in my head, ear piercing way up high - on the way there, i told brit i'd let her get one too & then [& ONLY then, was she thrilled!] - she'd been ready to get out of the house & go somewhere, anywhere, but now it was all about her & to her, that's waaaay cool!
`
we went into the mall & picked out earrings we wanted & just about the time we sat down they realized we were wanting them up high/cartilage area & they said they're not allowed to do those any longer, but i could go to 'such n such' a mall & they'd do it [like 25 miles away] - it was then i ran to the gas station, paid for it with an arm & a leg & then headed to 'such n such' a mall & had both our ears done
`
we then stopped by the camper to drop some things off where we've got it stored, then a trip to walmart & then we met spike for dinner - we got home, dropped the kiddos in bed, i made another run to the rental house & now we're both sitting here blogging [whew]
`
here's pics of our new ears [mine's the top & brit's is the bottom] - when i posted these pics & never before in my life have i noticed that my ears are POINTED!! - look at how brit's are all smooth & rounded & then look at mine!!! - they're crooked like 4 times!! - brit was trying her best to make me feel better [didn't work!] & said, "oh, i've always known you'd pointed ears, but i thought you knew [ummm, nope!], but i think it'd be neat to have pointed ears like you do, as it makes them look like those of an elf!" [ummm, i don't WANT ears like an elf, HELLO!!! - no more compliments, k brit?]

- WE'RE GETTING TIRED OF BOO WATCHING US -

...this' what i heard from my 3 bear cubs today - don't get me wrong, they LOVE their 'boo' [aka brit], but i truly think it's starting to get to them, us, everyone - we're all burning the candle at both ends & have been for several weeks, months & it's really getting tough
`
i've been noticing that the girls are bickering way more than normal, fussing about everything under the sun, wanting to be held a lot more & begging us not to have to go to 'the rental house' 'today' [but this goes for EVERYDAY] - i've been trying to take 1 of them with me [a different one each day] & although that helps, it's not the cure
`
with all the changes we're all going through, believe me when i say, i KNOW there's stress [& lots of it!] - i know what i'm going through & i have a sense of understanding of what's to be expected, but for 3 little ones [6, 5 & 4] how can they even begin to understand all that's about to take place [ie: moving from the only home they ever remember living in - having everything that means anything to you at all, begin to slowly disappear daily - going to a very small house that you've never been in before & hearing us say, "this' our new home...for a short time" - hearing that there's a baby on the way & will come live with us while we're still in the rental house - being excited about the baby, but yet scared too, as it's an unknown world - hearing talk of us moving AGAIN in a short time & really not knowing what that means...really - being left A LOT with boo, while mommy makes another run to the rental house - knowing daddy's working A LOT lately just to get ready to move to the rental house & knowing this are just different around here & they just can't quite put their finger on it, etc.]
`
finally it all broke today when i was getting ready to 'make another run to the rental house' & kiara said, "can nana come watch us for just like 12 hours, cause we're really getting tired of boo watching us!! - PAAALLLEEESSSEEE???"

- WE CLOSED -

yep, we closed on our current house today (praise the lord) - everything's done on this house & we'll be house this weekend - we've got to go next week to sign papers on the new house - i'm so tired, i've gotta get to bed, but wanted to share with the world that our house sold & we closed today (THANK YOU GOD!!)

- HAPPY FATHER'S DAY HONEY -

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY HONEY!!
`
who would've thought when we married 17 years ago, we'd be where we are today? - neither one of us would've, that's for sure
  • when we married [1991], it was just you, myself & dustin, living comfortably in our home in lafayette about 1000sf, but that was fine just for the 3 of us, as...we were done
  • after a few years of living there, we decided to move into something a bit bigger, so we built a home in lafayette about 1300sf & that was more than enough room for the 3 of us, as...we were done
  • we then added brit [1994], but there was still plenty of room in that 3 bedroom home for our little family of 4, as...now, we were done
  • i don't remember for sure, but sometime about 9+ years ago [1998] we really were looking to move closer to family - your dad was ill with cancer & we were wanting to help out as much as we could & felt that we were supposed to move - we all 4 packed up, moved 'back home', built our current home here in noblesville & knew that with it being about 1800sf, we'd not ever need anything any bigger, as...we were done
  • we then added kiara [2003], bunked her & brit together & said we'd enough room, as...now, we were for sure done
  • we then added karleigh [2004], bunked her, kiara & brit together & said we still had enough room, as...now, we were for sure, really done
  • we then added ruby [2005], bunked her, kiara & karleigh together, gave brit dustin's old room since he'd moved out on his own & with that we still had enough room, as...we were for sure, really, REALLY done
  • you then brought your office here to the house, kitchen table & we started noticing the room we thought we had, we'd lost once the girls all started growing [if we'd only known that before we started feeding them, huh?]
  • it was at this time, we began looking into building another house here in town - we picked out a floor plan that would give us about 4000sf, it'd also give you an in-home office, a 3 car garage, all the girls would have their own rooms & we'd even get an extra room [what's that, we asked?!?!] - we were so excited & so we began the process of selling our current home - we knew we'd not ever need anything with anymore space than that, as...we were totally, for sure, really, REALLY done
  • well we've known a young lady for quite awhile & in recent months she'd found herself pregnant - she weighed out her options & had decided to adopt out her child & because we love & care so much for her, we offered to adopt that baby & call it our own - 'mama' was thrilled with that offer as she knew she'd be able to see the child grow up & knew it'd be taken care of, etc. - we found out it was going to be a girl & she'll be arriving in more than likely 9-12 more weeks - so, our finale will be ahniér [2008] as...now, we are absolutely, totally, for sure, really, REALLY done!!!
    `
[note: you know the 'extra room' we were going to get? - well, extra room=nursery=no extra room any longer...oh well!]
`
i just want to publicly say how much we all love & appreciate all you do for our little, growing, large family - you came into this marriage thing thinking you'd marry & be the daddy to 1 little boy & now 1 son & 5 daughters later, we say thank you!!
`
happy father's day sweetie, you're the best!
`
your family
..........lori, dustin, brit, kiara, ruby, karleigh & ahniér

- STARTING WEEK 28 -

yep, just 9-12 more weeks & ahniér more than likely will have already arrived! [they say she could deliver early as she's a very tiny mama]
`
ahniér's eyes are partially open, can perceive light & can now respond to light & dark - her eye lashes & eye brows continue to grow & subcutaneous fat's deposited - she's almost 16" [head to toe], weighs over 2# [the actual weight & length of a chinese cabbage] - she's added blinking too as outside in the real world, blinking's necessary to help keep foreign objects out of the eyes
other impressive new talents being added to her roster in the womb include coughing, more intense sucking & perhaps most important, better breathing - the brain wave activity measured in a developing fetus shows different sleep cycles, including the rapid eye movement phase, the stage when dreaming occurs, so she may be dreaming about us!
`
the good news' that babies born this week, though premature, have an excellent prognosis because their lungs have reached the point [for the most part] of maturity, so we can breathe a little easier now [WHEW] - of course, it's still best if ahniér doesn't check out of that uterine hotel just yet as there's still a lot of growing & maturing to do over the next 9-12 weeks
`
also, her industrious little bone marrow's now a major construction site for developing red blood cells, while her super-cute adrenal glands are actually producing androgen & estrogen, which will stimulate mama's hormones to begin milk production
pregnancy

- & WHAT AM I DOING AT 1AM? -

[no, the picture below's not me!]
well, here i sit with a bowl of stale cereal in from of me & a bag of stale chips on the floor beside me [yes, it's 1:02 am...we now all know how my butt's gotten so big so big] - alright, moving on...
`
brit & i are sitting here playing on the computer as spike talks to a friend on the phone in the other room - she's been munching on peanuts & i thought, "hey, chips sound good...want any?" - she says, "no", so i, [aka: big hips] head to get some - i come back, get settled in my chair, eat 1 chip & ewww, it's stale!
`
i sit here for a few minutes longer & think, "hey, i'm gonna get me a bowl of cereal...want any?" - she says, "no", so i, [aka: wide bottom] head to get some - i come back, get settled in my chair, take 1 bite & ewww, it's stale!
`
NOTE: it's at this time god might be saying, "hey thunder thighs, you're wanting to loose weight, right? - maybe if you'd stop trying to eat at 1:00 in the morning, that might help... ehhh?
`
[now i know he'd not talk like that, but it's probably what he'd like to say to me!]

- KARLEIGH'S DAY -

this' from today's date with karleigh - we left this morning, headed to walmart, to the design studio to match paint colors to the tile we picked out, to lunch, to target, to the rental, back home to 'reload', back to the rental, then to papaw & nana's - the first pic's of dustin & karleigh & then the rest are all of karleigh - we'd a great day & she loved being 'only 1 person going with mommy' - she enjoyed not only the extra 1 on 1 time with me [i did too], but loved drinking sprite for lunch, getting sour candy when stopping to fill the van up, getting extra snacks at nana's & going to bed later - yep, it was a good day!

- A DATE WITH RUBY -

well, i got up today & had more loads to take to the rental [how is it that we keep hauling things over there, but it doesn't seem like things are getting 'less' here at this house?] - i asked ruby if she'd like to go with me & she jumped at the chance - for one, it helps brit not to have to watch all 3 of them, but still helps me as i don't have to take them all with me to do my errands & such - when i take the girls out 'alone', sometimes we do fun things [ie: go to lunch, to the park, etc.], but other times [like today], it's just a day with mommy
`
like i said, ruby & i loaded the car down with everything we could fit in there, then we took it & hauled it all into the rental & i'll tell you that little girl can pull her own weight [& at 5 years old, she only weighs 34#!!] - we not only put everything up that from that load, but also put up all the items that we'd taken over in previous loads too
`
we did this 3 times, but on the 3rd trip, we stopped by mc'd's for a drink & an apple pie [wow, she was sure a likin' that!] - before we went back into the rental, i phoned angela as ruby was signing something to me & i was lost...[again] & i needed ang's help to tell me what my daughter was saying to me! - anyhow, ang wasn't there, so i left her a message, saying i'd call her back later - we then went on into the house for the final time & just as we finished up, i called brit as we were taking a 5 minute break before heading home
`
i went through a story telling her how tired we both were, that i'd gotten all the clothes she'd sent with me into her new closet & she still had lots of room left, etc. [knowing she'd be happy about that] - all the while, she's just giving me 1 word answers [ie: hmmm, yeah, k, no], etc. - i said, "were you busy, as you act like you're not even listening" & then got a, "no" & that was it - this was beginning to get irritating as we'd gone through this for quite awhile & she was acting like she'd no idea what 'closet' i was even referring to & also acted like she could care less! - i finally got so frustrated as i'd say something & you know what it's like when you're talking to someone & then you pause for them to answer & it takes them like FOREVER & then they give a 1 word answer because they'd been busy & obviously just realized you'd said something & are wanting to cover their tracks so as to not look like they'd been distracted?, well this was what brit was doing to me so i yelled into the phone, "when you're ready to talk to me, phone me back!" [& hung up!]
`
i sat there holding the phone as i knew she'd call right back, but nooooooooo - with her stubborn head she didn't & i got all the more mad! - about 5-10 minutes later, angela returned my call from earlier & said, "what was that about?" - i [still be irritated at brit] said, "what?" - she said again, "what was that all about?" - i said, "i've no idea what you're talking about!" - she then started laughing & told me EVERYTHING that i'd just said to brit!! - "what??? - how'd you know all that??" - she said, "YOU THOUGHT YOU WERE CALLING & TALKING TO BRIT, BUT YOU CALLED ME INSTEAD!!!"
`
oh my goodness!!! - i felt so foolish & said, "why did you let me go on & on like that?" - she said, "i thought for while that you were talking to me & that i might have just forgotten about some of the things you were referring to, but then i thought no, she's talking on the phone to me, but brit must have just walked in & she's turned to talk to her" - she said, "i'd sit there for awhile [to me that's when brit was in the 'dead silence' stage] & then i'd realize that you were waiting on me to say something, so i'd just answer something real quick" - she said, "i thought it was funny, thought i'd play the game right along with you & as you know...it'll make GREAT blog material!!"
`
well, after we laughed our heads off about that, ruby & i finished everything up, just in time to get home so brit could head to drivers ed - we had dinner, i then loaded the car 1 more time & spike said he'd watch whomever i left him with, so i took ruby, ran down & grabbed brit from class, went to the rental, dropped things off there & straightened the house up a bit more, went to mom's & visited with her & madisyn as i'd to drop some things off there, then headed to the camper to drop things off, then grabbed brit dinner [yep, at 10pm], then came home - whew!
`
here's some pics i took of ruby at mom's house - isn't she a cutie!

- HERE IT IS & THE DATE'S BEEN SET... -

for june 20 - that's the date that comcast will be hooking up our internet service - you may think it's funny that we're planning this entire 'first move' on when we can get internet service, but with spike having his own business, he HAS to have it in order to keep working - he's also called & got the movers ready to move out the big stuff on the 20th as well
`
we close on our current home on the 16th, but don't have to have everything totally out until the 26th as that's the day they're taking possession of it - i've been going over most every day & getting more & more stuff taken over, curtains bought & hung, all ahniér's clothes put where they need to be & bassinets put where they need to be, so we're getting there! - it's starting to look more like 'home' with the more things of ours we get pulled in [don't get me wrong, we'll be VERY glad to move out when the time comes as we'll be cramped, but for now... it's 'home']
`
today spike & i were off very early [yuk] as we'd to leave our house about 7:30 - this' where we've to pick everything from tile, carpeting, brick, siding, front door color, cabinetry, countertops, lighting, toilets, etc.
`
here's some of our picks [keep in mind there's fluorescent lighting in the studio, so some of the pics are sort of blurry...sorry]
`
we're building this house through rylandhomes.com & click here to view the house we've chosen & you can take a virtual tour as well - when you go to the site, click on 'elevations' as we've picked the 'craftsman', but ours will be flipped compared to the layout you see on the page [our garage will be to the left]
`
something you'll not see in the pictures, that we chose to do was a 4' bumpout off the back of the kitchen for a bit of a 'breakfast nook', chose siding color 'sierra' [dark tan/light brown], chose brick color 'barnsley tudor' & chose all our door hardware & faucets throughout the house 'bronze' [looks black as you can see on the front door below]
`
front door etched glass & also the color we chose (black)
entry way chandelier
[this lighting fixture also comes in smaller sizes
& we'll hang 2 of the smaller ones at either end of our dining room table as well]oak cap with white spindles, plus wainscoting
gourmet kitchen
[these are the exact cabinets we picked] another view of the kitchen
[note: we're not having the 2nd stairs that you see in the background]this' the tile that we picked out, except in a different color
we'd narrowed our choices down to just 2
[1] rusty brown & slate blue/grey [that you see below]
[2] rusty brown & olive green [our pick]
if you can picture 'olive green' in the slate blue/grey areas, that's what ours will look like!all bathroom countertops
all faucets
[not in this color, but this' the design we picked]
grids on all windows
berber carpet
sheet vinyl in both upstairs bathrooms
kitchen countertop
[can't see really well, but it's a 'chocolaty brown' background,
with black, off white & carmel flecks in it]
