although it's not been a bad day, it's certainly not been the best day i've ever had either - everything from 'family' to 'not family' to 'adoptive families' to 'current home' to 'rental home' to 'new home' to 'toddlers' to 'bills' to 'rainy day' to 'high humidity' to 'decisions' to 'not caring' to, to, to, to, to

kiara came to me today & said, "i've gotta surprise for you!" [sometimes that's frightening, but today... NOT SCARED AT ALL!] - i went in my bedroom to find she'd made my bed for me without anyone knowing a thing about it - i said, "awww kiara, that's so sweet of you, what made you do it?" - she said, "you looked like you needed a 'sweet thang' just for you" - i'll take this 'sweet thang' & loved it!! - i took a picture of it & told her i'd blog about it tonight [she smiled] - she's only 6, but certainly knew mommy needed a 'sweet thang' to cross my path today... more than any other day
