- she's such a big girl -

yes, ruby started kindergarten today [whaaaa!] - i took her to school since it was the first day & she marched in there like she was queen - we found her classroom & met her teacher [mrs. bippus] & then went to the gym for a breakfast snack [she loved that!] - her teacher seems very sweet & ruby really seemed to take to her - she'll ride the bus home today & then both ways from now on - she loves riding the bus, so i'm sure once she realizes she'll be doing that daily, she'll be thrilled - here's some pics of her arriving at school this morning
`
PS - some of you might remember, i posted last school year here about it being so hard to keep track of all our kids, their school days, their school times, all their extra activities, pick up times, etc. - this year i thought to myself, "self, we're gonna get this thing right, straight from the beginning as i'm not going through this year, what i went through last year - we're adding another one in less than 4 weeks, moving again in less than 2 months & by golly, i'm gonna keep everything straight... i can do this!"
`
[keep in mind, that conversation i had to myself]
`
after meeting ruby's kindergarten teacher, mrs. bippus, i got a phone call from kiara's kindergarten teacher, introducing herself & telling me about the first day of school [wednesday] - she was really sweet & told me her name...mrs. bettis!! - i've now gotta keep straight not only 7 schedules, drop off times, pick up times, bus times, bus numbers, bus drivers, show/share items & activity days, etc., but now i've gotta keep both my kindergartners teachers straight...mrs. bippus & mrs. bettis!!
`
wow, this' day 1 & i can already tell, it's gonna be a FUN year!!
