well, we're just starting week 23 (starting today) & the grow must go on! - no wonder mama's getting so big, she's now housing a wonder-baby who weighs nearly a pound & measures nearly a foot in length - ahniér's perfect little pancreas is now further developed & she's also started producing her own hormones - ahniérs future in the circus as a world-famous tight-rope-walker' secure: her inner ear's now developed to the point that she has her own sense of balance - lucky for her, balance also promotes physical dexterity, which has her actively feeling out her surroundings where skin, body parts & the resident umbilical cord are the big sensory experiences - ahniér's now about a foot-long in length, weighs about a pound, is looking a bit like an oversized raisin & more wrinkles are showing up each week - not to worry, all that excessive wrinkling is just her skin’s way of planning ahead for the time when she’ll start piling on that irresistible baby chub - what's more, she's started to produce her own hormones as her little pancreas continues to steadily develop
